The workshop aims to cover a broad and highly useful overview for pupils of all ages. We will be focussing on social media marketing, business management/dealing with the industry, copyright and intellectual property as well as wider understanding of  legal terminology used.</p>
<p>We charge £30 per head with discounts offered to groups of over 50.</p>

Exeter – Friday 25th and Bristol – Saturday 26th November 2011.<br />
After the sold out success of the past two years we are delighted to bring Music South West to the Phoenix in Exeter on Fri 25th Nov and to be returning to the Watershed in Bristol on Sat 26th Nov . <br />
As ever we will be hosting two days of industry talks and discussions with a host of eminent guest speakers from across the music industry, providing invaluable insights into an ever changing industry, and providing the opportunity to network with peers and professionals, covering topics ranging from digital, marketing, business, live, promotion, audiences, education, finance, rights, royalties, film, TV, brands, bands, fans, and funds. <br />
Whether an aspiring or professional musician, label, publisher, promoter, artist manager, agent, educator, filmmaker, or even just a fan of music wanting to know more about the industry, we hope you will join us. We are keeping ticket rates as low as possible.<br />

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Music entrepreneurs and musicians from across the South West will be given a master class into how to crack the international music industry at the ‘Making the most of International Music Events’ roadshow that will be held at Waterside 2, Watershed, Bristol , on Thursday 8 September.<br />
The roadshow, organised by UK Trade &#038; Investment, is supported by leading music industry associations and organisations including AIM, Bristol Music Foundation, BPI, Creative Scotland, FFWD , Generator, The Great Escape, Liverpool Sound City, MPA, PPL, PRS for Music, Timeless Music Project and Welsh Music Foundation.<br />
Activities on the day will include: Q&#038;A sessions with industry experts, interactive panel sessions with senior executives from SXSW and Midem (two of the world’s leading international music trade shows), and an opportunity to network with these experts, UK music companies and other musicians.<br />
Between 30 August and 9 September, the ‘Making the most of International Music will visit eight UK regions. Glasgow (30 August); Newcastle (31 August); Leeds (1 September); Birmingham (2 September); Belfast (5 September); Liverpool (6 September); Cardiff (7 September); Bristol (8 September); London (9 September)<br />
